Ad (2) Ordering on our website or in our app

When you place an order on our website, we ask you to provide us with various details. We need this information in order to process your order. These details vary according to the product or service you order and may include the following: name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, transaction details, IP address (this is automatically stored when you place an order).

The transaction data (delivery address, payment and product data) must be retained by law for 7 years. The other order information we receive from you, we keep for 13 months after the order is completed.

Service messages

In exceptional cases, we may use your personal data to send important notices about the services or products we provide.

Advertising

If you have placed an order with us, we will send you offers on new products or services at the email address that you have provided to us. At any time, you can object to this advertising and indicate that you do not wish to receive it in future. Every promotional email we send contains an unsubscribe link.

Ad (3) Creating an account for our website and app

You can create an account for our website and app. To do so, use your email address as a username and choose a password yourself. In addition, you can save the following data in your account: your name, (delivery) address, telephone number and payment details. You do not need to fill in this information again with your next order.

If you have created an account, we will also store the details of the orders linked to that account. The details of an order will be retained in your account for 13 months after the order is completed. This makes it possible to track your orders and get a summary of previous orders you have made with the same account.

You can change your account details at any time. You can also delete your account at any time. We delete the account data after you have deleted your account, and you cannot reactivate a deleted account.

Ad (4) Response to an action or contest

If you wish to respond to a promotion or competition on our website or on one of our social media channels, we will ask you to provide us with certain personal data. Depending on the promotion or contest, this may include your name, address and email address. We only use this information to perform the action or contest, to announce the winner(s), and to measure the response to our marketing efforts. We delete these details no later than three months after the action or competition has ended.

Ad (5) Contacting us

You can contact us in different ways. Via telephone, email, chat, the contact form and social media. We make notes of the contact moments with you in order to improve our service to you. We also randomly analyse the contact moments we have with you in order to learn from them. We keep this data for 13 months after the contact took place.

Should we wish to record a telephone conversation with you for training purposes, we will inform you in advance.

Automated decision-making 

We do our utmost to ensure that there is no fraud when placing orders on our website. We try to ensure that you do not become the victim of fraud because someone else places an order on our website on your behalf. That is why we carry out a fraud check when you place an order. This check can result in us refusing an order. Because fraud prevention is very important, we will use all the personal data we have about you where necessary. Our fraud system is continuously monitored. If you do not agree with a refused order, you can always ask for a manual check by one of our employees.

Social media

It is possible to log into your account on our website using certain social media accounts. For verification purposes, we receive publicly available information about your profile (name, age, gender, profile picture). We do not share this data, but you can share information from us via your social media account.

If you contact us via social media or refer to us on social media, and we see this, we will save your account name so that we can respond to your message.

Communication of your data to other parties

We never sell your data to other parties. We provide your data to the parties we engage for our business operations. For example, we work together with the suppliers of your chosen product, to whom we pass on the delivery of your order.  

We also provide your data to 'processors' within the meaning of the applicable privacy legislation. For example, we use a payment service, a cloud service, IT suppliers, marketing agencies and a fraud detection company. We conclude agreements with these processors that require them to comply with this privacy statement and the applicable privacy legislation.

Sometimes we are legally obliged to provide your personal data to other parties. This may be the case, for example, in a police investigation into fraud.

Statistics

We keep statistics on visits to our website and on all orders placed on it. We use these statistics to determine trends and improve our offer. We compile statistics from the data we receive, including yours, but not before we have anonymised it.

  • object to a certain use of the personal data we hold about you;

  • requesting a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
